o hai! My name is Katie Lopez.I live in a town in California called Porterville.
I was born on June 27th, 1992.
I'm the youngest of seven children. Yes, seven children. I have five brothers and one sister.
I've grown up in a Christian home my whole life. And I've been homeschooled my whole life.
My parents own an ice cream shop and I've worked there since I was 11.
I spend a bit too much time in Photoshop, just for fun, though. I've gotten pretty good in the last 4 or so years, but it's nothing I want to spend the rest of my life doing.
In fact, I have no clue what I want to do with my life. And it's crazy because all my friends my age are talking about what they're going to do with their life.
I have some of the greatest friends EVER. I won't even begin to talk about them. This about me would be a novel.
I wish I could love like a child. That would be pretty sweet.
I love to play dodgeball. I play it at church on Wednesday nights. I'm usually the only girl playing. I'm usually the last one in, too. Because... no one goes for me because I wear glasses, and I'm a girl... and I pwn at dodging.
I am a huge grammar/spelling/etc. freak. If you use "where" and "at" in the same sentence, I will cringe and probably not talk to you for a while.
I have a lot of interests.I'm pretty much a really big nerd. I love video games. I grew up on comic books and anime. (Digimon > Pokemon--even though the games are really fun). Kingdom Hearts II is my favorite video game. I almost cried when my brother beat the game and watched the ending. But that could've been because it was about 1:30am. Super Smash Bros. is also pretty daggum sweet. I've also been getting back into Monster Rancher (mainly 4).
The Office, Heroes, Psych, the Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother are my favorite TV shows. They're all hilarious and amazing and wonderful and fantastic. I thoroughly enjoy reruns of Quantum Leap and Arrested Development (<3).
And movies! I love movies. Cloverfield is one of my favorites. As is Heavyweights... it's just a perfect movie. A fat camp taken over by Ben Stiller? Amazing. I love Over the Hedge. You just can't go wrong with Steve Carell voicing a squirrel, with Ben Folds doing the soundtrack. I mean, really. Dan In Real Life makes my heart happy. Steve Carell, and then Sondre Lerche doing the soundtrack? <3 Ooooh, then there's Little Nemo. Amazing. I watched it growing up, and I don't see how I watched such a dark movie at such a young age. But seriously, that movie is amazing. But I also love My Fair Lady. Yes, My Fair Lady. You will often times hear me singing "Wouldn't It Be Loverly?", and it will get on your nerves. Then there's the Princess Bride, 3 Ninjas, the Goonies, Final Fantasy VII: AC... and then the Narnia movies! Oh Lord! I loved the books. The movies are wonderful. Prince Caspian was mind blowing. Annnnd of course, Star Wars. I love Star Wars. A lot. The Sound of Music rounds up my top five favorite movies. What are the other four? I'd say Heavyweights, Dan In Real Life, The Goonies, annnnnd the Princess Bride. But Heavyweights will always be a favorite. Always.
THEN there is Calvin and Hobbes. That is just brilliant. I love reading those comics so much. I wish I had Calvin's wit. That would just be amazing. It'd be sweet to live in his world. Just walk into your backyard, and there's a forest! Having a wonderful friend like Hobbes... I'm strange, I know.
